A <strong>obrigatoriedade foi aprovada pela Ag\u00eancia Nacional de Telecomunica\u00e7\u00f5es (Anatel)<\/strong> e tem o objetivo de coibir fraudes, j\u00e1 que o titular da linha telef\u00f4nica passa a ser identificado.<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/agenciabrasil.ebc.com.br\/ebc.png?id=1707188&amp;o=node\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/agenciabrasil.ebc.com.br\/ebc.gif?id=1707188&amp;o=node\" \/><\/p>\n<p>A biometria ser\u00e1 feita por reconhecimento facial com prova de vida, que ser\u00e1 comparado com bases de dados j\u00e1 existentes, p\u00fablicas ou privadas. Essa valida\u00e7\u00e3o deve estar dispon\u00edvel em canais de atendimento presenciais das operadoras, al\u00e9m de sites e aplicativos das empresas de telefonia m\u00f3vel.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Se a autentica\u00e7\u00e3o biom\u00e9trica n\u00e3o for poss\u00edvel, a norma da Anatel exige procedimentos alternativos para garantir a identifica\u00e7\u00e3o do titular da linha.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2>Implementa\u00e7\u00e3o<\/h2>\n<p>A implementa\u00e7\u00e3o da norma ser\u00e1 feita de forma gradual. Em casos de novas contas pr\u00e9-pagas, o prazo para uso da biometria ser\u00e1 30 de setembro de 2027. Para novas ativa\u00e7\u00f5es p\u00f3s-pagas, portabilidade, troca de chips e altera\u00e7\u00f5es cadastrais ou contratuais, o prazo vai at\u00e9 31 de dezembro de 2027.<\/p>\n<p>Os usu\u00e1rios de contas antigas que ainda n\u00e3o tenham sido cadastrados precisam faz\u00ea-lo at\u00e9 janeiro de 2029.
