A a\u00e7\u00e3o resultou em 22 mandados de pris\u00e3o, dos quais 17 j\u00e1 foram cumpridos.<br \/>\nAl\u00e9m de Teixeira, tamb\u00e9m foi preso Caio M\u00e1rio Trivellato Seabra Filho, diretor da Ag\u00eancia Nacional de Minera\u00e7\u00e3o (ANM). Entre os envolvidos est\u00e1 Gilberto Henrique Horta de Carvalho, lobista ligado ao deputado Nikolas Ferreira.<br \/>\nSegundo as investiga\u00e7\u00f5es, o grupo subornava servidores de \u00f3rg\u00e3os como ANM, IPHAN e Funda\u00e7\u00e3o Estadual do Meio Ambiente para liberar licen\u00e7as ambientais fraudulentas, permitindo a explora\u00e7\u00e3o ilegal de min\u00e9rio de ferro em \u00e1reas protegidas. O esquema teria movimentado mais de R$ 3 milh\u00f5es em propinas e envolvia projetos com potencial econ\u00f4mico superior a R$ 18 bilh\u00f5es.<br \/>\nA Justi\u00e7a Federal determinou o afastamento de servidores, o bloqueio de R$ 1,5 bilh\u00e3o em ativos e a suspens\u00e3o das atividades de mais de 40 empresas. Os investigados poder\u00e3o responder por diversos crimes, incluindo corrup\u00e7\u00e3o, organiza\u00e7\u00e3o criminosa e danos ambientais.<br \/>\nA opera\u00e7\u00e3o foi conduzida em parceria com a CGU, MPF e Receita Federal.
