O\u00a0d\u00f3lar\u00a0<\/a>operou em queda no in\u00edcio desta quinta-feira (20), mas virou e fechou a\u00a0R$ 5,46<\/strong>\u00a0, registrando uma alta de 0,35% no dia. Com o maior valor\u00a0do terceiro governo de\u00a0\u00a0Luiz In\u00e1cio Lula da Silva<\/a>\u00a0(PT), a moeda norte-americana n\u00e3o chegava a este patamar desde 22 de julho de 2022.<\/p>\n

A alta ocorre depois do presidente da Rep\u00fablica tecer\u00a0fortes cr\u00edticas\u00a0<\/a>\u00a0Comit\u00ea de Pol\u00edtica Monet\u00e1ria (Copom)<\/a>\u00a0\u00a0do Banco Central (BC), que manteve a taxa Selic em 10,5% ao ano e interrompeu o ciclo de quedas. A alta do d\u00f3lar tamb\u00e9m acompanha uma piora do ambiente externo.<\/span><\/p>\n

O movimento na Bolsa de Valores foi semelhante. O Ibovespa, principal \u00edndice da Bolsa brasileira, iniciou o dia com forte alta e superou os 121.500 pontos. Ao longo desta quinta, por\u00e9m, houve uma desacelera\u00e7\u00e3o, fechando com uma alta mais t\u00edmida, de 120.472 pontos, com 0,17%.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Cr\u00edticas de Lula<\/h3>\n

O presidente voltou a questionar a autonomia do Banco Central e disse que a medida foi “uma pena”. “Quem est\u00e1 perdendo com isso \u00e9 o Brasil, \u00e9 o povo brasileiro”, disse o mandat\u00e1rio em entrevista \u00e0 R\u00e1dio Verdinha, do Cear\u00e1, nesta quinta-feira.<\/p>\n

\u201cFoi uma pena que o Copom manteve, porque quem est\u00e1 perdendo com isso \u00e9 o Brasil, \u00e9 o povo brasileiro. Porque quanto mais a gente pagar de juros, menos dinheiro a gente tem para investir aqui dentro. Isso tem que ser tratado como gasto\u201d, acrescentou o mandat\u00e1rio.<\/p>\n

A manuten\u00e7\u00e3o da Selic foi decidida por unanimidade no colegiado na noite desta quarta-feira (19). Com isso, interrompeu-se\u00a0a sequ\u00eancia de sete cortes consecutivos no \u00edndice, uma medida reprovada por Lula.<\/p>\n

\u201cEu fui presidente [durante] 8 anos. O presidente da Rep\u00fablica nunca se mete nas decis\u00f5es do Copom e do Banco Central. O [Henrique] Meirelles tinha autonomia comigo tanto quanto tem esse rapaz de hoje. S\u00f3 que hoje o Meirelles era uma pessoa que eu tinha o poder de tirar, como o Fernando Henrique Cardoso tirou tantos, como outros presidentes tiraram tantos. A\u00ed resolveram entender que era importante colocar algu\u00e9m, que tivesse um Banco Central independente, que tivesse autonomia. Ora, autonomia de quem? Autonomia para servir quem? Autonomia para atender quem?\u201d, afirmou.<\/p>\n
