A Defensoria P\u00fablica da Uni\u00e3o encaminhou, nesta sexta-feira (19), um pedido \u00e0 Justi\u00e7a Federal solicitando que a plataforma X\/Twitter seja condenada a pagar a quantia de R$ 1 bilh\u00e3o. O valor requerido se refere a danos morais coletivos e danos sociais atribu\u00eddos ao Brasil.<\/p>\n

O \u00f3rg\u00e3o argumenta que a postura de Elon Musk representa uma “instrumentaliza\u00e7\u00e3o de plataformas digitais para fins il\u00edcitos”, apontando para uma “grave responsabilidade das empresas e de seus gestores” e indicando uma “indu\u00e7\u00e3o e participa\u00e7\u00e3o em atividades criminosas que atentam contra o tecido democr\u00e1tico da na\u00e7\u00e3o”.<\/p>\n

As alega\u00e7\u00f5es da DPU t\u00eam como base uma s\u00e9rie de ataques iniciados pelo bilion\u00e1rio Elon Musk contra o ministro Alexandre de Moraes no in\u00edcio de abril.<\/p>\n

Entre as amea\u00e7as feitas por Musk estava a inten\u00e7\u00e3o de reativar perfis bloqueados por decis\u00f5es judiciais.\u00a0Esses acontecimentos geraram rea\u00e7\u00f5es do ministro, que incluiu o empres\u00e1rio nos inqu\u00e9ritos relacionados \u00e0s m\u00eddias digitais e aos atos ocorridos em 8 de janeiro.<\/p>\n

Al\u00e9m do pedido de indeniza\u00e7\u00e3o milion\u00e1ria, a Defensoria P\u00fablica da Uni\u00e3o solicita que o X\/Twitter seja obrigado pela Justi\u00e7a a adotar pr\u00e1ticas de modera\u00e7\u00e3o de conte\u00fado em conformidade com as leis que assegurem os direitos \u00e0 liberdade de express\u00e3o e informa\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n

Isso incluiria a remo\u00e7\u00e3o de publica\u00e7\u00f5es ilegais e o cumprimento de decis\u00f5es judiciais. A DPU tamb\u00e9m requer que a empresa coopere prontamente com as autoridades, fornecendo respostas r\u00e1pidas \u00e0s solicita\u00e7\u00f5es, e que apresente relat\u00f3rios detalhados\u00a0sobre as medidas tomadas para cumprir as determina\u00e7\u00f5es judiciais.<\/p>\n
