A Totoya confirmou no per\u00edodo da tarde desta ter\u00e7a-feira (5) o investimento de R$ 11 bilh\u00f5es no Brasil at\u00e9 2030. O montante ser\u00e1 utilizado para ampliar a capacidade de produ\u00e7\u00e3o de ve\u00edculos e motores com tecnologia h\u00edbrida flex. A previs\u00e3o \u00e9 de cria\u00e7\u00e3o de 2 mil novos empregos, podendo chegar a 10 mil vagas ao considerar postos indiretos na cadeia produtiva.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Do montante total, R$ 5 bilh\u00f5es est\u00e3o confirmados at\u00e9 2026 para a produ\u00e7\u00e3o de um novo ve\u00edculo compacto h\u00edbrido flex, anunciado no ano passado e com previs\u00e3o de produ\u00e7\u00e3o para 2025. Outro modelo com a mesma tecnologia, desenvolvido especialmente para o Brasil, tamb\u00e9m est\u00e1 na agenda, com maiores informa\u00e7\u00f5es ainda a serem divulgadas.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cO desenvolvimento de novos produtos, a necessidade de capacidade de expans\u00e3o e forte demanda, interna e externa, motivaram esse investimento\u201d, afirma o CEO da Toyota no Brasil, Evandro Maggio, em entrevista ao Broadcast, sistema de not\u00edcias em tempo real do Grupo Estado.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Para atender \u00e0 demanda aquecida por ve\u00edculos eletrificados, a companhia vai investir na expans\u00e3o do parque fabril em Sorocaba (SP), que atualmente funciona a plena capacidade.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Com a amplia\u00e7\u00e3o, as opera\u00e7\u00f5es de Indaiatuba (SP) ser\u00e3o transferidas para a cidade de forma gradual, a partir de meados de 2025, com conclus\u00e3o prevista para o fim de 2026.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

O an\u00fancio do investimento foi antecipado no domingo pelo vice-presidente da Rep\u00fablica e ministro do Desenvolvimento, Ind\u00fastria, Com\u00e9rcio e Servi\u00e7os, Geraldo Alckmin.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

No total, conforme a Anfavea, entidade que representa a ind\u00fastria automotiva, R$ 100 bilh\u00f5es ser\u00e3o investidos pelas montadoras e seus fornecedores de pe\u00e7as at\u00e9 2029.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Segundo a companhia, o aumento da capacidade de produ\u00e7\u00e3o e a introdu\u00e7\u00e3o de novos modelos eletrificados possibilitar\u00e3o a localiza\u00e7\u00e3o adicional de pe\u00e7as, componentes e sistemas de alta tecnologia.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

O aumento da localiza\u00e7\u00e3o ser\u00e1 iniciado com a montagem do motor do sistema h\u00edbrido em 2025, na planta de Porto Feliz (SP).<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
