Antes de ser declarado ineleg\u00edvel, o general da reserva Braga Netto era considerado um forte nome do campo bolsonarista para concorrer \u00e0 prefeitura do Rio de Janeiro em 2024.<\/div>\n<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n

Ex-ministro da Defesa e candidato a vice na chapa de\u00a0Jair\u00a0Bolsonaro<\/strong>\u00a0(PL) em 2022, o general\u00a0Braga Netto<\/strong>\u00a0orientou ataques nas redes sociais contra o general\u00a0Tom\u00e1s Paiva<\/strong>\u00a0, atual comandante do Ex\u00e9rcito. A descoberta foi feita pela\u00a0Pol\u00edcia Federal\u00a0(PF)<\/strong>\u00a0, que apreendeu mensagens de celular de Braga Netto durante a\u00a0Opera\u00e7\u00e3o Tempus Veritatis<\/strong>\u00a0. A informa\u00e7\u00e3o foi divulgada inicialmente pelo blog da Malu Gaspar, do O\u00a0Globo.<\/p>\n

No dia 17 de dezembro de 2022, Braga Netto enviou mensagens para\u00a0Ailton Barros<\/strong>\u00a0, capit\u00e3o expulso do Ex\u00e9rcito, relatando que Paiva teria visitado\u00a0\u00a0Eduardo Villas B\u00f4as<\/strong>\u00a0, ex-comandante do Ex\u00e9rcito.\u00a0 No di\u00e1logo, o ex-ministro da Defesa afirma que Paiva “nunca valeu nada” e indica uma suposta rela\u00e7\u00e3o do general com o\u00a0PT (Partido dos Trabalhadores<\/strong>\u00a0). Al\u00e9m disso, ele orienta Barros a disparar nas redes sociais uma s\u00e9rie de mensagens contra Paiva.<\/p>\n

“\u00c9 verdade. Pode viralizar”, escreveu Braga Netto ao capit\u00e3o reformado, aliado de Bolsonaro. No entendimento da PF, a ideia do ex-ministro era “manchar” a reputa\u00e7\u00e3o de Paiva com outras lideran\u00e7as militares. A troca de mensagens ocorreu cinco dias depois de\u00a0Luiz In\u00e1cio Lula da Silva (PT)<\/strong>\u00a0ser diplomado presidente da Rep\u00fablica.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Paiva foi escolhido para assumir o Ex\u00e9rcito em 7 de fevereiro, substituindo J\u00falio C\u00e9sar Arruda, comandante que perdeu a confian\u00e7a do governo federal ap\u00f3s os ataques de 8 de janeiro.<\/p>\n

Paiva n\u00e3o foi o \u00fanico alvo<\/h3>\n

Nas conversas interceptadas pela PF, Braga Netto tamb\u00e9m pediu para Ailton Barros coordenar ataques contra o ent\u00e3o comandante da Aeron\u00e1utica, Carlos de Almeida Baptista. No di\u00e1logo, o ex-ministro chama Baptista de “traidor da p\u00e1tria”.<\/p>\n

“Senta o Pau Batista Junior. Povo sofrendo, arbitrariedades sendo feita (sic) e ele fechado na mordomia. Negociando mordomias. Traidor da p\u00e1tria. Da\u00ed pra frente. Inferniza ele e a fam\u00edlia dele”, escreveu Braga Netto.<\/p>\n

Na sequ\u00eancia, Barros acata a decis\u00e3o e responde com uma figurinha que diz “desce a chibata”.<\/p>\n

Assim como Jair Bolsonaro, o ex-ministro Braga Netto tamb\u00e9m foi considerado ineleg\u00edvel.\u00a0\u00a0A condena\u00e7\u00e3o da dupla ocorreu devido a alega\u00e7\u00f5es de abuso de poder pol\u00edtico durante as comemora\u00e7\u00f5es oficiais do 7 de Setembro de 2022\u00a0, com o placar de 5 votos a 2 no\u00a0TSE.<\/p>\n
