Nascida em Cristais Paulista (SP), a tia da empres\u00e1ria Luiza Helena Trajano \u00e9 conhecida por ter sido uma vendedora muito popular em Franca e por fundar com o marido em 1957 a primeira unidade daquela que se tornaria uma das maiores redes varejistas do pa\u00eds.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

O sonho do casal de vendedores Luiza e Pelegrino Donato era constituir um com\u00e9rcio que gerasse emprego para toda a fam\u00edlia na cidade do interior de S\u00e3o Paulo. Para escolher um novo nome para a loja de presentes adquirida por eles em 16 de novembro de 1957, os fundadores criaram um concurso cultural numa r\u00e1dio local, convidando os clientes a participar com sugest\u00f5es.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

E, como Luiza era uma vendedora muito popular na cidade, os ouvintes escolheram o seu nome. Assim, surgia o Magazine Luiza.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
