O presidente Luiz In\u00e1cio Lula da Silva (PT) sancionou nesta sexta-feira (29) a Medida Provis\u00f3ria (MP) conhecida como MP das subven\u00e7\u00f5es, aprovada na \u00faltima semana pelo\u00a0Senado.<\/p>\n

A medida foi proposta pelo ministro da Fazenda, Fernando Haddad, e a pasta espera que ela possa gerar arrecada\u00e7\u00e3o extra de R$ 35 bilh\u00f5es aos cofres p\u00fablicos, ajudando a alcan\u00e7ar a meta de zerar o d\u00e9ficit\u00a0nas contas do governo.<\/p>\n

A MP das subven\u00e7\u00f5es, cuja aprova\u00e7\u00e3o no Congresso foi considerada uma vit\u00f3ria para o governo,\u00a0eleva a tributa\u00e7\u00e3o federal sobre empresas que t\u00eam benef\u00edcios relacionados ao Imposto sobre Circula\u00e7\u00e3o de Mercadorias e Servi\u00e7os (ICMS), um imposto estadual.<\/p>\n

Ao sancionar a lei, Lula n\u00e3o vetou qualquer dispositivo do texto. Durante a tramita\u00e7\u00e3o no Congresso, o governo teve que ceder em alguns pontos para que o texto fosse aprovado.<\/p>\n

O l\u00edder do governo no Senado, Jaques Wagner (PT-BA), anunciou durante a vota\u00e7\u00e3o na Casa a amplia\u00e7\u00e3o do prazo para pagamentos de montantes n\u00e3o recolhidos pelas empresas no passado. Al\u00e9m disso, o governo tamb\u00e9m cedeu ao permitir mudan\u00e7as nos\u00a0juros sobre capital pr\u00f3prio.<\/p>\n
