Nesta quarta-feira (13), nove soldados das For\u00e7as de Defesa de Israel (IDF) morreram em uma emboscada armada por terroristas do Hamas no norte da Faixa de Gaza.<\/p>\n

O caso aconteceu no bairro de Shijaiyah, onde ocorreram diversos confrontos terrestres desde ter\u00e7a-feira (12). De acordo com a r\u00e1dio do Ex\u00e9rcito, as tropas israelenses que estavam revistando edif\u00edcios no local perderam a comunica\u00e7\u00e3o com quatro soldados.<\/p>\n

Quando os outros militares lan\u00e7aram uma opera\u00e7\u00e3o de salvamento, foram emboscados pelo Hamas. Entre os nove mortos est\u00e3o o coronel Itzhak Ben Basat e o tenente-coronel Tomer Grinberg. As informa\u00e7\u00f5es s\u00e3o da ag\u00eancia de not\u00edcias AP.<\/p>\n

A Assembleia Geral das Na\u00e7\u00f5es Unidas aprovou uma resolu\u00e7\u00e3o pedindo por um cessar-fogo humanit\u00e1rio por 153 votos a favor, 10 contra e 23 absten\u00e7\u00f5es. As tropas israelenses e palestinas seguem se enfrentado na cidade \u00e0 medida que o sistema de sa\u00fade e as iniciativas de ajuda humanit\u00e1ria colapsam.<\/p>\n
