Copom projeta novos cortes para 2024<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n

O Copom (Comit\u00ea de Pol\u00edtica Monet\u00e1ria) do Banco Central anunciou nesta quarta-feira (13) uma nova redu\u00e7\u00e3o na taxa b\u00e1sica de juros, a Selic, de 12,25% ao ano para 11,75% ao ano.<\/p>\n

Esse movimento representa\u00a0o quarto corte consecutivo desde agosto do mesmo ano,\u00a0quando a taxa iniciou sua trajet\u00f3ria de queda.<\/p>\n

A decis\u00e3o foi tomada de forma un\u00e2nime pelos membros do Copom, composto pelo presidente do Banco Central, Roberto Campos Neto, e oito diretores.<\/p>\n

A taxa de 11,75% ao ano atinge seu menor patamar desde mar\u00e7o de 2022, quando estava fixada em 10,75% ao ano.<\/p>\n

O comunicado divulgado pelo Copom sinaliza a possibilidade de novos cortes de 0,5 ponto percentual nas pr\u00f3ximas reuni\u00f5es, mantendo uma pol\u00edtica monet\u00e1ria contracionista para contribuir com o processo desinflacion\u00e1rio.<\/p>\n

A pr\u00f3xima reuni\u00e3o do Copom est\u00e1 agendada para os dias 30 e 31 de janeiro de 2024. A taxa Selic desempenha um papel importante no controle da infla\u00e7\u00e3o, influenciando diversas taxas de juros no pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n

As decis\u00f5es do Banco Central consideram proje\u00e7\u00f5es futuras e miram a meta de infla\u00e7\u00e3o para 2025, com uma faixa entre 1,5% e 4,5%.<\/p>\n
