Em discurso na Pra\u00e7a Bol\u00edvar, em Caracas, Maduro disse que o referendo foi &#8220;hist\u00f3rico&#8221; e representa um &#8220;\u00eaxito da democracia&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;O povo venezuelano falou alto e claro, e essa vit\u00f3ria pertence a todo o povo da Venezuela&#8221;, disse ele. O referendo aconteceu neste domingo, e\u00a0mais de 95% dos venezuelanos que votaram aceitaram incorporar oficialmente Essequibo ao pa\u00eds e conceder cidadania\u00a0\u00e0 popula\u00e7\u00e3o local.\u00a0Segundo o Conselho Nacional Eleitoral da Venezuela, 10,5 milh\u00f5es de eleitores participaram do referendo.<\/p>\n<p>Na vota\u00e7\u00e3o, os eleitores tiveram que responder a cinco perguntas, e todas tiveram mais de 95% de aprova\u00e7\u00e3o.
