Chuvas castigaram o Rio Grande do Sul e Santa Catarina<\/div>\n<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n

Desde a \u00faltima segunda-feira (13), a regi\u00e3o Sul do Brasil est\u00e1 sendo atingida por fortes chuvas que j\u00e1 deixaram mais de 8 mil pessoas desabrigadas, e pelo menos sete mortos, de acordo com os dados fornecidos pela Defesa Civil do Rio Grande do Sul e Santa Catarina.<\/p>\n

No Rio Grande do Sul, desde a \u00faltima quarta-feira (15) a Defesa Civil j\u00e1 registrou quatro \u00f3bitos em todo o Estado, sendo duas dessas v\u00edtimas duas mulheres soterradas em sua resid\u00eancia em Gramado, na Serra Ga\u00facha.<\/p>\n

As autoridades afirmam ainda que 63 pessoas est\u00e3o feridas, 2.653 desabrigadas e 7.527 desalojadas e o\u00a0 n\u00famero total de afetados pelas chuvas, ventanias, soterramento e inunda\u00e7\u00f5es \u00e9 de mais de 194 mil pessoas em 138 munic\u00edpios do RS. Para tentar abrigar a popula\u00e7\u00e3o, foram abertos 35 abrigos p\u00fablicos em 10 munic\u00edpios.<\/p>\n

Em Santa Catarina, o boletim mais recente emitido pela Defesa Civil registra 5.858 desabrigados em 67 munic\u00edpios afetados pelas chuvas, e o n\u00famero de desalojados ainda n\u00e3o foi divulgado pelas autoridades. Segundo a Secretaria de Assist\u00eancia Social, Mulher e Fam\u00edlia de Santa Catarina (SAS), esse n\u00famero ainda est\u00e1 sendo contabilizado por muitos munic\u00edpios.<\/p>\n

A Defesa Civil informa que 71 cidades est\u00e3o em situa\u00e7\u00e3o de emerg\u00eancia, sendo que 11 delas est\u00e3o em estado de calamidade p\u00fablica. At\u00e9 o dia 18\/11, 82 abrigos j\u00e1 foram abertos pela Secretaria de Assist\u00eancia Social, Mulher e Fam\u00edlia de Santa Catarina (SAS).<\/p>\n

A previs\u00e3o de tempo em Santa Catarina para esta segunda-feira n\u00e3o apresenta chuva, entretanto, segundo o boletim divulgado pela Defesa Civil, os temporais podem retornar na ter\u00e7a-feira, principalmente em regi\u00f5es pr\u00f3ximas \u00e0 fronteira com o Rio Grande do Sul. Entre quarta e quinta-feira, a passagem de uma frente fria por Santa Catarina pode resultar em chuvas de 70 a 130 mm na regi\u00e3o do Grande Oeste e 40 a 80 mm nas demais regi\u00f5es, caracterizadas por uma alta intensidade em um curto per\u00edodo de tempo.<\/p>\n

No Rio Grande do Sul, a Defesa Civil local n\u00e3o emitiu alertas de chuvas, entretanto, divulgou que rios como o Gua\u00edba, que corta a capital Porto Alegre, est\u00e1 com alerta de inunda\u00e7\u00e3o por toda a sua extens\u00e3o.<\/p>\n
