Antonio Carlos Buzaid<\/strong> na sess\u00e3o desta quarta-feira, 07\/03, na CPI da <strong>Fosfoetanolamina<\/strong>, que acontece na Assembleia Legislativa de S\u00e3o Paulo. S\u00e3o eles: o n\u00e3o conhecimento sobre os estudos dos testes feitos pelo Icesp com a subst\u00e2ncia da Fosfoetanolamina sint\u00e9tica; que s\u00e3o os m\u00e9dicos os maiores interessados na cura de uma doen\u00e7a, descartando qualquer rela\u00e7\u00e3o comercial com os laborat\u00f3rios; e a concord\u00e2ncia da necessidade de pelo menos 14 pacientes para testes para cada tipo de tumor, confirmando o que disseram os demais depoentes nas sess\u00f5es anteriores.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A declara\u00e7\u00e3o foi feita ap\u00f3s ser informado pelo presidente da CPI, deputado <strong>Roberto Massafera<\/strong>, que os testes feitos nas coortes (assim chamados cada grupo de teste com seu tipo de c\u00e2ncer) pelo Icesp, em uma existia apenas um paciente. \u201cSe o objetivo a ser atingido com a droga \u00e9 que pelo menos 20% dos pacientes apresente melhora (esse \u00e9 um n\u00famero universal), s\u00e3o necess\u00e1rios pelo menos 14 pacientes (por coorte)\u201d, afirmou <strong>dr. Buzaid<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ap\u00f3s ouvir o depoimento do <strong>dr. Buzaid,<\/strong> o relator da CPI, <strong>deputado Ricardo Madalena<\/strong>, disse que \u201cde um lado vemos a opini\u00e3o m\u00e9dica sem embasamento nenhum. Apenas opini\u00f5es. E do outro lado vemos pacientes com relatos de melhora e at\u00e9 de cura (ingerindo a fosofoetanolamina). Continuaremos apurar com transpar\u00eancia, responsabilidade se os protocolos (dos testes da Fosfo pelo Icesp) foram respeitados (seguindo o protocolo da Anvisa). Infelizmente, o que estamos investigando \u00e9 temer\u00e1rio\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A CPI da Fosfo investiga se os procedimentos realizados pelo Icesp (Instituto do C\u00e2ncer do Estado de S\u00e3o Paulo) com a subst\u00e2ncia seguiram o protocolo e as normas da Anvisa, e quanto o governo de S\u00e3o Paulo empregou em recursos para a realiza\u00e7\u00e3o dos testes A CPI tem prazo de 90 dias para concluir as investiga\u00e7\u00f5es, podendo ser prorrogada por mais 45 dias. A pr\u00f3xima sess\u00e3o est\u00e1 marcada para o dia 13 de mar\u00e7o, quando ser\u00e1 ouvido o <strong>dr. Roger Chammas.<\/strong> E haver\u00e1 tamb\u00e9m sess\u00e3o no dia seguinte, quando dep\u00f5e o <strong>dr. Paulo Hoff<\/strong>, que conduziu os testes da Fosfoetanolamina no Icesp..<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>PERFIL<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Dr. Antonio Carlos Buzaid<\/strong> \u00e9 graduado pela Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade de S\u00e3o Paulo. Atua na \u00e1rea de Oncologia Cl\u00ednica. Na Universidade de Yale, nos EUA, foi Professor Assistente, Diretor M\u00e9dico do Centro de Melanoma e Co-Diretor do Centro de C\u00e2ncer de Pulm\u00e3o por 4 anos. Com 450 cap\u00edtulos de livros publicados no Brasil e no exterior, \u00e9 membro da American Society of Clinical Oncology e da Sociedade Brasileira de Oncologia Cl\u00ednica.
